What started out as a search for archaeological artifacts in the Subarctic, ended up with DNA sequencing and bringing ancient viruses back to life. This is the story of a research project that led to some interesting discoveries and more than a few surprises. See how scientists, archaeologists and First Nations elders worked together to understand how the northern environment has changed in the past and where it is currently headed.
